Has anyone got any super tips for removing limescale in my toilet from below the water line? I've scrubbed and scrubbed with the toilet brush but its refusing to shift.

All tips gratefully received

Get the black domestos with a bright green lid, pour down the toilet and leave overnight and then scrub off with toilet brush in the morning.

It will get rid of everything.

Get the water out of the loo and rub with a pumice stone
Don't use it on your feet ever again
It was the only thing that got rid of unsightly lime scale on my loo, none of the products worked

use the toilet brush to siphon most of the water out of the bend then pour on harpic limescale remover and leave for an hour

I followed advice I was given here:

Empty the toilet of all water (scoop out at first then use a towel to soak up last bits)
Spray vinegar all over the limescale and pour plenty into the toilet bowl
Leave over night
Brush n flush

Voila! All gone. It really works. And doesn't harm the environment Smile

Harpic 100% limescale remover. Every day for a week. Worked a miracle.

If it's really bad, you need Spirits of Salts - but not something you'd want to be using too regularly - pretty heavy duty stuff

I second the black domestos suggestion. Miracle product.

Empty water from toilet, you can scoop it out with a disposable cup or a sponge. This is important or water will wash away/dilute whatever product you use. Then use black domestics zero product, contains hydrochloric acid which is stronger than vinegar. Must use gloves and eye protection as highly corrosive.
Be prepared to scrub away any stubborn remnants, but this should do the trick!
