I'm embarrassed to say I bought ds2 the worst mattress in the world from Argos!
They won't replace it because it's not faulty it's just shit Hmm

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced mattress topper I can put on there

I think I have seen some at Aldi, which would have been pretty cheap.

I am a big fan of DAPW. It might be slightly more than you expected to spend but the quality is great and so is the customer service.

I've discovered Ikea do mattress toppers and mattresses for normal size beds. I got one for DS's mattress for £40. (I think we may have bought the worlds worst mattress too) It's much improved.

Ikea Sultan toppers - they have a few different ones in the Sultan range, but I have a few different relatives and friends who have bought them (from the cheapest of the lot to the more expensive), and all have said they were great and made a big improvement.
