Not as large as the lovely lakeland ones that I am coveting, but a lot, lot cheaper.

It gets hotter than the lakeland one felt when I stroked it lovingly in the shop, so hopefully it will dry quicker too. :)

ooh did you buy it then? can you let us know if it dries well? want a lakeland one but can't afford itSad

I can't justify the £75+ for the smaller lakeland one either (much as I'd love to). I had to think twice about the £25 one to be honest.

I've used it and it does speed up drying. You can see things getting dry 'stripes' on them, then I just adjust what's on there to dry in a different place. My downstairs is quite cool compared to upstairs, so hopefully it will give the heating a boost when it's on too. :) I've got it under a window so I can open it a crack from time to time to let out any damp air - although my home is pretty open plan so not really an issue.

I wouldn't want to leave it on overnight or while I'm out at work, so I'm happy that it has an on/off switch in a handy place.

I looked at them today in Aldi and swithered about getting one - is it worth it, do you think?

Bung a sheet over it - it will dry even quicker.

Have heard about that trick, but didn't know if it would work. I can see the theory.

Will give it a go tomorrow with my next load.

If it shortens the time my washing takes then I'll be happy. It should also prove cheaper than running the ancient tumble drier in the garage (which is in pieces at the moment waiting for DH to pull his finger out and repair!)

i dont think thats great value to be honest,it doesnt even look a third of the size of the lakeland one,the lakeland one is well worth the money imo,i dry 4 loads of washing a day on it,could do 6 if i could be bothered to wash 6 loads a day,i put 2 loads on it at lunch time, its dry by the time i go to bed, then i out another load of clothes and a load of nappies on there and its dry by the time i wake up.
