Ours are currently homeless and therefore literally all over the bathroom (and garden). Any bright ideas before i go and buy something useless, expensive and nasty like i usually do?

A mesh bag (ours came with a Mothercare sling) so they can drip back into the bath when you hang it up from the shower?

waterfalls · 30/06/2006 13:24

You can get net bage with suckers to stick to the tiles, not sure where from though.

waterfalls · 30/06/2006 13:24

bags, that should be.

JackieNo · 30/06/2006 13:25

We've got something a bit like this - not beautiful, but it does the trick.

MrsBadger · 30/06/2006 13:25

mesh bag

ours was from Tchibo and is really meant for putting delicate things in the washing machine - no suckers so is hung on sucker hook.

Poshpaws · 30/06/2006 13:27

Had a mesh bag. Now they are in the top and tail bowl as the mesh bag kept falling of the tiled wall. It then became a play thing for my two boys , who put holes in it.

PinkTulips · 30/06/2006 13:28

baby bath left inside the bath when not in use and behind bathroom door when bath is being used. can't be arsed buying one of those meshy thingies as dd would have it ripped down within 5 mins!

Ledodgyherring · 30/06/2006 13:36

we have this

Medulla · 30/06/2006 13:37

one of those bags with suction cup things

acnebride · 30/06/2006 13:39

We balance them all around the bath, they fall in and DP stands on them during his shower and swears. Ah domestic bliss.

KathyMCMLXXII · 30/06/2006 13:42

Our mesh bag is Tommee Tippee and we bought it from Asda. it has ducks on the suckers. Cost about three quid, I think.

SparklyGothKat · 30/06/2006 13:43

I have wicker boxes in my bathroom, its a very small bathrrom (just the bath and sink) with about 5ftx3ft to sit in when the kids are bathing. So I have one large box with the kids toys in, then a smaller one with bath salts etc in. They live under the sink as thats the one space avaiable

foxinsocks · 30/06/2006 13:44

we went through many a mesh bag and very a la snowleopard ours either live in the bath or on the sides of the bath

acnebride · 30/06/2006 15:37

Ahah sparkly. Do you find you have to clean them a lot, or do you keep a liner in them or something?

(Did that sound like someone who cleans? I don't so if they need a lot of cleaning I probably shouldn't get any)

SparklyGothKat · 30/06/2006 17:48

they have a fabric liner. easy to just dump in the washing machine

Nemo1977 · 30/06/2006 17:50

i had two of those mesh bags but they never stuck up properly so ended up with a plastic box..however this may be because ds stays in the bath so long he has a ton of bath toys plus baby bath seat sits in the box too.

SparklyGothKat · 30/06/2006 17:52

mine are like this but have lids and liners

The bidet. Our particularly nasty 1970s bathroom happens to come with one!!

Alipiggie · 30/06/2006 17:57

The big thing here in the States is the Frog Pod which looks great, thinking of investing in one, scoops and drains the toys and then stores them away. Retails at $25 which isn't too bad. Think bump23 has them in the UK, but much more expensive.

serenity · 30/06/2006 17:58

This box , but it gets manky because it fills up with soapy water from the shower (it sits between the taps and the wall). I have to rinse everything off before they have them in the bath.

sugarfree · 30/06/2006 18:01

I have a plastic basket that lives in the bath.

serenity · 30/06/2006 18:03

Suddenly had a thought actually - saw this offer when I looked for the box. I've got a couple at home already (but will probably get some more on monday!). I wonder if Dh could put a hook up at the other end of the bath and we could put put the toys in that? It's pretty big and meshy so should dry OK.......must go and experiment!
