Hello - can anyone help? I have a relatively large area of tiled foor and I'd like it keep it nice and clean, every day.

How do you keep yours clean?

I have a vacuum and mop, obviously, but they are a bit of a pain to get out EVERY day . I have a large steam cleaner (see above point). So I can clean it thoroughly once or twice a week, but I want a quick way of picking up the bits and cleaning the tiles every day. The main problem is the grout - this has to be thoroughly cleaned regularly or the dirt builds up and I have to keep deep cleaning it and I was wondering if anyone has a lightweight steam cleaner or some such miracle gadget that will transform my life??

I have just tried the Bissel Steam and Sweep thingy and was disappointed. Doesn't really do anything very well at all.

Or do I just hoick out the hoover every night?

I have the same issue. Sweeping the floors just makes the crumbs go into the grout, so we Hoover the floor instead, then mop it and every month I do the grout with a steamer. I use the polti 950 which is fab.
I want a roomba though :)

Yay - there is life outside my house! :-) Thank you for your reply!

Glad it is just not me.

I have a Roomba. It's not bad, but since I got my new sideboard it keeps getting stuck underneath it. Not ideal! I have a Polti something or other, which is amazing, but not fab for an everyday 'swish over'. Plus it takes ages to heat up.

Anyone use a lightweight steam cleaner that keeps the grout nice and clean if I were to use it at least every other day?

Are the sonic steam mops any good?

1 2 spray mop is brilliant for daily swishing without the hassle of filling a bucket full of water etc (you still need to use a bucket and a mop to give the floor a proper clean once a year from time to time).

Ooh - will check that out, thank you!
