I'm torn about this one but believe me DH is paying for it.
Short version of the story - DH got drunk at a wedding, vomited on his suit trousers, next morning rinsed them off, to bring them back home. Brought them home, he soaked them in a bucket and then hung them up to dry. I refused to touch them. Fast forward to now.
Now have dry, not stinky but badly stained expensive black suit trousers.
He wants me to take them to the dry cleaners for them to sort out, from past experience I feel that they are likely to come back just as badly stained just pressed a bit better. Which would amount to very expensive ironing!
I was going to very gently hand wash them, and hang them out to dry as in the past I've got this to work for bad stains but he says i'll ruin them. I've pointed out he's already ruined them I might be saving them and at least I won't be paying lots of money out for the pleasure.
WWYD - anybody else tried something similar?
(I know he should be taking them to the dry cleaners but as he has been on call they aren't open when he's around ATM, so I'm charging him to deal with this - don't feel due to the circumstances he can get off with this one lightly, so he either pays for dry cleaning & pays me to take them OR he pays me to wash them)
