Hi
I have too many bags being used at once, not enough space to keep them and can't find a thing!
I have a nice leather bag for work, a baby changing bag, a cath kidston over shoulder bag and a couple of small cross body bags. I am always falling over them all and can never remember which one I've put things in. This often means that when I'm out, the things I need are in another bag at home!
Dc are 6 and 16 months so not even sure what I need to be taking out now.
Any help or suggestions please to get organised? Thanks.

I have clear bag inserts (boots sell them ) that I swap from bag to bag - keep my essentials in their - lipstick tissues mints wallet etc - and a black pencil case for more discrete items - pads etc !! Lol !! Makes my life much easier - have one hook out of view from the front door where I keep the two or three current bags and choose whichever one i need before I zoom out ! Hope that helps !!!

Thanks thats a great idea. Are the bag inserts like clear make up bags? Do you put everything in one or divide stuff into several?

Ditto bag inserts. You can also buy bag organisers on eBay like this and this. I have these kinds of bag inserts and find them really useful - I have one of the second type for the changing bag essentials (nappies, wipes, sudocrem, hand gel, disposable changing mat, nappy bags, calpol sachets, baby moisturiser), it's not at all packed out and I could even fit more in there. I don't always use a set changing bag so this is very useful. I also have a much smaller purse-like pouch which is for the stuff I like to keep on me - mints, sanpro, paracetamol, hair bands, hand gel, lip balm.

What I don't keep in one of these are my keys, phone, travel card, and purse. Although these are arguably the most important items I need, we have a key organiser which has a mini shelf that is by the front door. I leave my keys on the hook as soon as I get in, as well as my purse and travel card (my phone travels around the house with me, it's hard to forget it!). The organiser is set back and high enough from the door not to be at risk, but close enough to remember everything.

hi - the ones I have are clear - but I'm tempted to order the first ones from Delasi's post now !! :-)
