Keeping white poloshirts with logo white?

DS has just started school - white poloshirts with a dark colour and black logo.

I hate the way that the white in coloured clothes goes a bit grey after a while, and wondered if anyone had tips for keeping them white.

Should I wash them with my whites (and risk them all going a bit grey), or in with the coloured wash?

I was them in a white wash on a 60c turned inside out and they have always been fine ??

Lakeland do a stain remover cream - white wizard or something.similar - I find it really effective and it lasts for ages.

Use those colour catcher sheets - I use these for any clothes with white or light stripes/patterns/logos compared to the other colour in the garment. So wash with the whites but throw in a sheet. To save money I wait until I have a full load of patterned type clothes, sometimes mixed with light coloured clothes, but I sometimes throw in a sheet just with my whites anyway because I think it catches any grime in the water. (I'm probably a bit OTT with this though.) I also wash those clothes at 40 if I can to minimise the colour run from the dark colour - though DH work shirts and things I wash at 60 anyway. There is an own brand Tesco version and sometimes Aldi have them a bit cheaper but only as a 'special buy'.

soluble aspirin helps in a whites wash. DS has red and white PE kit and I can't use anything excessively "chemical" as it gives him ezcema. The aspirin works quite well.

I wouldn't risk the rest of the washing. I'd wash however many polos you have in a wash on their own at the end of the week. And I'd use something like Ariel Actilift

Thanks for the replies ignoring my own accidental post on the wrong thread. We don't have a lot of whites generally and DS only has three of the offending polo shirts so I don't really want to do a separate wash for them.

I think I'll try the colour catchers so I can put them in with the other whites, though curious about the aspirin option!
