Yes to summer duvet
Yes to summer handbag

bakedpotato · 13/06/2006 14:26

will anyone 'fess up to having summer sofa covers and summer curtains, like those people in design mags?

Fimbo · 13/06/2006 14:34

My mum has summer & winter curtains for her lounge.

JackieNo · 13/06/2006 14:58

God no - surely too much faff to change curtains and sofa covers. I barely have a different summer and winter wardrobe for me, let alone the house. It's a lovely idea, but just isn't going to happen in our houseSad.

Twiglett · 13/06/2006 15:06

I suppose I should try to find our summer kitchen sink

kate100 · 13/06/2006 15:32

Yes, during the last warm spell, but we're sleeping under just sheets at the moment, too hot for anyting else.

Northerner · 13/06/2006 15:34

Twig you are not alone. No summer duvets/curtains here either.

sugarfree · 13/06/2006 15:35

Summer/winter curtains for the front door.

What's so odd about summer duvets? They come in a pack of two - one autumn/spring, one summer and you are supposed to fasten them together. And summer duvets are much easier to loose than winter ones. Ours was just in a bin bag in the loft. But surpise, so are a lot of other things.

dinosaure · 13/06/2006 15:38

Yes, weeks ago, too hot in London for anything else.

In fact it's been so hot that even summer duvets have been jettisoned in favour of just sleeping under a sheet.

Twiglett · 13/06/2006 17:38

I sleep under a fan Grin
