Cleaning brabantia bin

How do I get it clean? Ours is old and a bit neglected , I've just cleaned the outside with the steam cleaner but hasn't improved things significantly. The inner bit has water and bleach in it for now but still looks filthy

Well I do but I just wipe down the outside and it looks fine spray the lid every day and the inside isn't mucky. I used to clean my last bin everytime I emptied the bag. It has never occurred to me to clean this one. Surely with the amount they cost they clean themselves or something.

Am off to remove the bin bag now and do a sniff check.

Forgive the lack of punctuation my brain just exploded on the page.

I put bins in the bathtub to clean with washing up liquid

urtwistingmymelonman · 17/07/2013 19:02

is cleaning a brabantia bin different to cleaning any other bin then?

SilverSixpence · 17/07/2013 20:13

They are just very deep but basically I mean any deep pedal bin you can't reach to the bottom of!

Mine goes in the empty bath, spray with cleaner, leave for a few minutes hours/days then rinse with shower.

Leave outside in the rain for an hour or two, then wipe. (Lazy person's method Blush )

I use a hose pipe and washing up liquid and give ours a good spray, before leaving them in the garden to dry out.
