Can a stain be removed once its been 'set' in the tumble dryer?

I have a lovely lightly colour jacket and it has a couple of chocolate marks on the front. Didn't realise this when I put it through a 30 degree wash and then tumble dryed it on low Sad I saw the mark when I shaking it out and now I'm wondering how I can shift them as it's a lovely jacket!

Well I think I have just ruined it further by tipping some soda crystals on it and bleached it...Sad
I did not know it would bleach the area on such a light coloured jacket Sad

maybe too late but in answer to your question - yes, stains can be removed after clothes have been tumble dried.

I often don't notice stains until I am ironing/folding. I have never known chocolate to leave a stain but I don't usually use a 30 wash. I find that good old fairy liquid deals with most stains though - just rub a bit on and leave for a few minutes then wash as normal.

Oh dear, does sound too late. Dye the whole thing with Dylon at some point?

I find that Vanish can shift stains on the second or even third wash - rubbed directly on to the stain rather than just added to the load generally.
