I have a fave pink scarf that is 70% wool and 30% silk. While away at Centerparcs my eldest was being windswept and interesting and writing with a feather and lemon juice on paper. Thing 3 then knocked over the lemon juice on to my scarf so I put it in soak as we were on our way out. Thing 2 then must have knocked a blue pencil case into the soak water without me realising. Got home to a 'tie dyed' pink scarf. Is there anyway I'll be able to get the blue bits of dye out????

I would try soaking the scarf in oxiclean or something similar, then hang it in sunlight for a few hours to see if the blue dye fades.

Failing that...hurrah! You have a brand-new tie-dye scarf....?!?

Am gonna try your tip now. Only reason I can't high five myself abt a tie-dye scarf is that it's a Gucci one I treated myself to at a once in a lifetime trip to an Italian outlet store at a friend's wedding in Tuscany. Is irreplaceable to me!!!

Right, have put it in to soak with usual washing powder plus a 'Vanish' Oxiaction colour magnet. Fingers crossed. As soon as load is finished in machine I'll put it in?

Try putting it in the machine with a couple of colour catchers, this might work.
