My washing machine smells.

I cleaned the drawer, drawer hole and door seal. It still smelled. I ran a 90 wash with bio powder. It still smells.
I emptied the filter. Guess what? It still smells.

What do I do next? Please help!

Watching with interest! I tried to sort out mil's washing machine a couple of weeks back. I did 2 boil washes - 1 with soda crystals and a couple of towels and then an empty one with a cup of vinegar. I then started using powder and soda crystals in most washes and do at least one hot wash a week. All was going well until mil returned and now the bloody machine honks again. I've cleaned the seal and pulled out some disgusting black fluff stuff. It particularly smells when drying Sad I think the problem is that she is using too much non bio liquid, short cool washes and there isn't enough ventilation in the kitchen. I've seen some Dr Beckmann super strength stuff that looks like it might zap all bacteria and make it smell all nice again - maybe give that a go if you haven't tried the soda crystal / vinegar thing??

Not much you can do apart from make sure that you leave your door open after every wash otherwise mold builds up and once it is there it doesn't go!

Hmm I haven't tried vinegar, I could do that.
I mainly use powder, only liquid for colours, and do a 60 wash at least once a week. Maybe I need to do the 90 more often.

Right, wheres that vinegar?
