Last time I bought a mop it was useless.

It was a vileda. I want a good mop that I can flick around and everything sparkles afterwards.

So, what's a really good mop? I have a steam mop. Don't like it.

I just use an old fashion normal string one, couple of quid a head from the hardware store, had the same pole for years, and a metal mop bucket.

I work in Waitrose as a cleaner and at work we use old fashioned sting ones that can be removed and washed. It can clean a whole store in minutes so will be great for a kitchen

I use a string mop, too. I also have a flat microfiber mop that I can use to go over the wet floor and pick up anything left behind.

Both mops fit on same wooden pole and both can be chucked in the wash.

I always think that you are putting your dirty mop back into the bucket of water and dirtying the water and just moving the dirt about on the floor. I got a 2 section bucket a few years ago in Lakeland so the dirty mop is squeezed into a seperate section.
