Aaaaargh. Bathmat has FUSED with the bath!

Bathroom I don't go in much (extra room, I do wash) and have just discovered that a bath mat draped over the edge of the bath has become one with it!

Most has come off but big bits are still stuck. HTH do I get them off? Is not ceramic bath.

WD40? Oil? Heat? Nail file?

Try blowing it with the hot setting on a hair dryer? It should make it un-mould, I think.

Wouldn't that just spread it around in a big rubbery mess?

Maybe try lighter fuel ?? - it's very good for getting general gluey latex/rubber based gluey gunk off things, labels etc, so in theory it should work.

Or UPVC window frame cleaner.

I thought it would make the suckers curl rather than make it a big mess, you could always try lifting it with a butter knife while blowing it with the dryer.

If its rubber/latex it disintegrates with age & basically turns to glue - if that's happened that would make some sense as to why, it's basically glued itself to your bath

WD40 should do it.

Yes it is basically a big gluey mess. Am going to go on a WD40 mission and see what happens in the deserted bathroom of no return.

A retractable razor is very good on hard smooth surfaces. You should be able to find one at a b&q. Window cleaners use them.

I use them all the time, and they save me a lot of elbow grease.
