Has anybody got a nifty trick for getting dog hair out of fleecy dog beds?

I'm planning on popping them in the tumble drier on low heat setting for a long time to get the hair out, but is there a better way?

Ours dogs chewed their beds so there was no need to de-hair them, but I have spent time with tape wrapped round my hand, then one of those sticky clothes brush stylee things -can't remember what they're called- and removed the hairs from other things that way.

OOps, posted too fast, you might end up with a tumble dryer full of dog hairs.

I was hoping they would all get stuck in the filter thing...

our dog doesn't have a bed but he does have lots of fleece blankets. i wash them very often and tumble them to get rid of the hairs. i don't have an issue with dog hair in either my washing machine or tumble dryer.

(no need to feel sorry for my bed-less dog - he sleeps on the sofa or in human bed!)

I stand on them spreading them out then hoover, then washing machine, then tumble. Most of it is completely gone.

Put washing machine on rinse afterwards clears the hair, and remember to emplty the filter of the dryer and bobs your uncle. Smile

Slightly dampen a rubber glove, and wipe repeatedly.
Or - a shower squeegee.

I use a small rubber brush sold as a cat/dog brush like - this
