Odour absorbing candles or other devices

I hope you don't think I'm horrible but I am looking for odour absorbing candles because of my DS's piano teacher. He comes to us every Friday after school stinking of BO. I understand he's had a full days work by the time he gets to us but still, I don't understand how he can smell so strong and not realise. After the lesson the whole room stinks and I can still smell it Saturday morning. I feel that the room now permanently smells of him although this might be paranoia.

He's a fantastic teacher and a wonderful person and I wouldn't want to change teachers or upset him by saying anything, I'd just like to deal with the smell. I am hoping you might be able to recommend some useful products to mask the BO smell. I would prefer something natural that doesn't produce another horrible but artificial smell to mask the BO smell. For example I find the Neutradol Odour destroyer quite unpleasant in itself. Thank you.

I have one of these for our open plan kitchen living room as the cooking smells drive me mad! It's very good and there are lots of oils to choose from www.madebyzen.com/zenbow

Thank you SparklyStone. What is the scent made out of? How do you refill it? I just know that an artificial scent will be a problem for me in itself and this is a pretty pricey device too!

open the windows?
sprinkle bio washing powder on the carpet and hoover up after half an hour?
can't do candles they give me itchy eyes and a headache

Obviously I open the windows after he's gone and close the door so that the whole house doesn't freeze up, but I feel the smell still lingers plus I'd like something that's absorbing the odour whilst he's there. How my DS hasn't said anything about it I do not know. My DH can smell it hours later when he gets back from work.
Oh and we have wooden floors, not carpet.

there's no such thing, really - scents are just smells which are allegedly pleasant. Bicarbonate of soda powder may help, leave a dish of it out.

is there another staff member or a wife who could be asked to have a word? This might be a case of someone never having their suit cleaned or simply not washing often enough.

You use aromatherapy oils, so it smells more natural than artificial (my DH hates chemical scents in the house!)

Oh and sorry you refill it by taking the top of and filling with water and a few drops of oil

Ordinary household candles/tealights eliminate nasty bathroom smells, so could probably work in this case too; I'd try 3/4 for say half-an-hour.
