Black paint stain

Last week at toddlers my DS got black paint not just all over him, but over his top. I guess this is what happens when you stick your hand in it and then run said hand down your face and top.

Anyway, I have washed this top 5 times now, with vanish oxi-action and persil stain remover. It's not budging!

Shall I just abandon the top or am I missing a really simple way of getting the paint out?!

I wonder if it was poster paint, emulsion or gloss paint?

It should have been poster paint, ie washable, but seemingly not. Sorry I should have clarified.

Any ideas....

nope

for poster paint, I would have been thinking of a long cold soak in Persil, followed by a hot wash. Black will leave a mark, I don't know what more you can do.

Thanks, I think I have exhausted all options and it's now going to become a "painting" top.
This week, he can go topless Grin
