Cleaning granite worktops

We had granite worktops installed a couple of weeks ago and, whilst I love them, they are a pain to keep smear free. Any tips? I have the Method daily cleaner but its occurred to me that that is just a shining product rather than an anti-bacterial so should I also be using something like Dettol? I'm sure the woman in the showroom mentioned something about having put Windolene on the worktops...can I? At the moment, each time I buff my worktops, I just focus on the fact that it must be good for my bingo wings!

I just use a piece of kitchen paper dipped in very hot water to get rid of grease and fingerprints and then the gloss spray afterwards.

I've tried most cleaners. The best I've found so far is a new one from m&s. It's £1.99 a bottle.

I use a bog standard surface cleaner to get rid of food stuff etc and I then use the m&s granite cleaner. I spray it on and then polish it off with an e cloth. It works really well and the work tops gleam.

I second the e-clothes...they leave our bathroom worktop smear free

Very hot water - e cloth whilst still wet - perfect shine & no chemicals.
