Clean my oven. Any advice? I usually use dairy liquid and elbow grease but I want to do a proper deep clean and make it sparkle - it mings a bit right now!

That would be fairy liquid. I can't imagine dairy liquid would be any good

Oven pride is fab, if its very grotty - all the power and none of the elbow grease! Or try using a steamer if its not very bad, I love mine

I don't have a steamer. If I turn the oven on and put in a bowl of water will that work?! I will have a look and buy some oven pride as well.

I don't see why it won't, you would have to wrk quickly though so it doens't dry out before youre done cleaning. Oven pride is amazing, if you have Wilkos or Home and Bargain they usually have it cheap

If you truly want your oven to be utterly perfectly clean and sparkle like new, then a professional oven cleaner will do it for £50. S/he will take the doors off and take the racks out and go put things into vats of stuff out in their van. It will literally look like a brand-new cooker. Even the heating elements and the light bulb will be cleaned.

Otherwise, Oven Pride is the way to go. It's the most caustic product available to general consumers. Wear sturdy gloves and be prepared to throw away a lot of your cloths.

I don't think using water/steam will make a big difference.
