Just moved into a new house and everything is stainless steel, some brushed and some the really shiny kind. How do I clean without leaving streaks. Have lots of mirrors too any tips?

E-cloths are your friend! I clean stuff then polish it with an ecloth.

You can also polish the stainless steel up with a dab of baby oil on a paper towel.

Mirrors I do with a Karcher window vac then polish any odd little lines off.

I presume you mean watermarks for hard water?

Option 1, get a watersoftener. You will be stunned at how easy it is to clean glass and other shiny objects, you kettle will stay clean inside and out

option 2, polish off with a damp vest cotton cloth.

BTW, brushed stainless, only ever rub it in the direction of the brushing, never in circles as they will show. (Show even worse on mirror finish). You can clean it, if marked, with a nylon scourer, preferably the white one which is softer, and half a drop of WUL. Avoid acid cleaners and bleach which may mark and have to be polished off.

For streaks, a drop of baby oil on paper towel as viper said. It really works.

I use Flash special surfaces and love it.

I use baby wipes and dry/buff with e tea towel, brings it up beautifully with no marks or streaks!

I second E-cloths. No other microfibre cloth is the same! Use them damp and polish with E-cloth glass cloth if needed. If you use them with very hot water ( double rubber gloves needed) they get even burnt on spills of the hob. If you have used baby oil or WD it will take a few goes to get the residue of the steel.
