Cleaning granite worktops

We have lovely black granite worktops. I find that when I clean them they look all nice and shiny until they dry when they look greyish. I have tried said and water, kitchen spray and anti limescale cleaner. Is there something I can use to keep them looking and sparkly?

There is a product called Barkeeper's Friend that makes granite worktops look good as new. You can get it from Lakeland and larger supermarkets.

Method do a specific granite cleaner but does not work on ours as it is honed granite
I like the Lakeland micro fibre clothes for granite, they come as a 2part set

as above, method do a good granite cleaner which smells great too. i'm not so keen on barkeepers as it's a powder so much harder to use, and i am concerned about potential issues using the strength of barkeepers around kids when an eco option is there.

I use Asda own brand window cleaner on mine, cheap as chips.

Sainsburys sell a granite cleaner, can't remember the name but it's in a black spray bottle. It is good but has a tendency to build up and go a bit streaky.

Friend of mine uses one of the Dettol Multi-Surface cleaners on hers and says it works better than anything else she's tried but I'm wary of trying it

Windolene or any other glass cleaner. One a month buff it up with lakelands worktop wonder. Job done. If you wash with anything else then the trick is to dry the granite as well otherwise you get the water marks and streaking.

Just hot water then buff with an ecloth before it dries for a lovely shine. Simple & no chemicals.

Windowlene is fantastic (also on ceramic/induction hobs). For honed granite, Lakeland does something called Worktop Wonder which is works really well and smells lovely!

We have a special polish for granite. It makes the counters very, very shiny but you have to give it a bit of elbow grease and them it disappears. The brand is called ZEP but I'm in N. America so it might not be available where you are. I'm sure you have something similar...I buy it from the hardware store (ie; B & Q or Homebase in the UK, I think?). You HAVE to use a clean, dry cloth though.
