It is possible to run a duct under or through a plastic roof. I generally advise against making holes in roofs as they usually leak.

it would be possible to run a duct straight to the back door. whether the LL will is another thing entirely. i've been trying to get the back door itself replaced since june when i moved in. there is a hole measuring about 8X16 inches. i've blocked it up with baking trays.

Grrrrrrrrrr!

My exhaust goes into my attic so no need to have hole in the roof. Is this going to cause problems long term I wonder. I also keep the windows open when I shower.

"My exhaust goes into my attic "

yes, this will cause the water to condense on the cold surfaces in your loft. It will get very wet up there, and sooner or later the roof timbers will go rotten and collapse.

A ceiling fan ought to go into a duct or hose that is vented through the eaves, or a hole cored in a gable wall.

the point of ventilation is to get the water outside your home.

Thank you for this. Ah, I meant eaves. Thank you. X

The Lakeland mildew spray really does the job. It's evil though, wear rubber gloves

ANother vote for neat bleach and scrub with nail or toothbrush after leaving a while.
