Best Ikea furniture for kids rooms?

The DDs are 5 and 3 and share a fairly small room. Atm dd1s single bed and dd2s cot bed, plus a bedding chest, take up the entire bedroom, and their lothes are in a wardrobe in the study and a trofast in the hall.

For Christmas, they are getting new bedroom furniture, ideally it would last them a good while. They have a separate play room (it is too cold/damp to use as a bedroom though) so just soft toys in the bedroom, plus the odd book.

So, I'm thinking this bed but set up as a bunk bed (ie as a high bed but with an extra mattress underneath) as that will keep it quite low in case of falling out. Then when dd2 gets big enough, she could get one herself and then just put her mattress on that.

What shoukd I do about clothes storage?

I've bought the stuva range for DD's nursery thinking that it can grow with her. Looks quite versatile. Can't link as on phone.

Is it pretty sturdy?

Friend of DD had one of those beds linked to. It was, IMO, not quite strong enough.
Although TBF, he was a very 'active' boy.
My DD has a wardrobe, bed, chest of drawers and bedside table in the Hemnes range. She is a bit older than your two.
