Somebody must know the answer to this. Which is the better deal.

Shopping in Aldi.

Versus shopping in Asda bearing in mind that at the moment you get £5 off over a £40 shop.

Cutting back not cutting out.

Their selection of meat and fish is pretty poor, their bread is horrible and never fresh and the household stuff (laundry detergent/toilet cleaner etc) is just crap compared to proper brands

That bears no resemblance to the Aldi I stop at. I choose to shop at Aldi as it's so good not especially because I need to budget.

Aldi is greatSmile

I think Also is great. The meat, cold meat and cheeses are really good.

I agree I don't ike their bread but otherwise all is fine.

I find the cleaning products really good.

I think it is cheaper in Aldi because if you want a bottle of bleach for example it's.50p. in Asda and similar you have to buy 3 for £1.50 or its 75p.

Multiply that round the shop and you end up spending a lot less in Aldi.

I like all the cured meats cheeses in Aldi. Not keen on the bread nothing wrong with it just not for me.
Laundry and cleaning products all seem fine to me can’t tell difference.
