Am going dizzy ploughing through pansConfused

Thinking about these ProCook ones, but not all are non stick. Is this an issue? All my old pans were N/S.

No experience of those but I wouldn't bother with non-stick for anything other than frying/saute pan. Non-stick coatings come off / scratch and wreck the pan. I've never really understood why you'd need non-stick for anything other than frying.

I have a set of 6 copper bottomed pans from Dunelm Mill, cost less than £90 for the lot and are still in near perfect condition 9 years later. I've never bothered with non-stick pans, My best sautee pan was bought for less than 10 Euros at an Italian market!

Thanks for replies!Smile

I've been getting in a right kerfuffle with myself over this. Confused about what will be ok on induction. Copper is ok? I've been going by whats magnetic and notConfused

Since my original link I've also been looking at the Ikea ones and pretty much decided on those. Now have to get to Ikea..

Test it by putting a magnet on the bottom, if its sticks it's fine!

I love my induction hob, wouldn't have any other sort. We have stainless steel pans. Le cruset are good too but prob over your budget.

I'd go for John Lewis classic pans

I have an older version of these and they're still going strong after about 16 years, they look amazing.

I also have some of the Ikea ones in our static caravan - they're good but no way near as good as the John Lewis ones. The latter have thicker bases so less chance of sauces burning on the bottom.

A much better investment Smile

I could be wrong but I think the handles get hot on the Ikea lids. They stay cool on the JL ones.

We got the tefal pro induction pans, they were from
John Lewis but I have often seen them on special in Robert Dyas (think they sell online) and amazon. They are really good and wash well.
