Storing soft furnishings in loft- good idea or not?

Anyone any advice? have recently got new loose covers so old ones ( still very useable) are going to be stored. THey have been washed & ironed.

we have a modern house and are distinctly short of space- no space in wardrobes, under beds etc. I wondered about putting them in the loft in those " under bed storage bags" ( canvas) but might they become mouldy? Would I need plastic airtight bags- or what?

plastic storage crates, with a moth-killer inside each, and tape sealing the lid.

Put them in straight from the extra-dry tumble drier as when they get cold any moisture will form condensation.

You won't use them ! That's why you got new ones. As you are short of space don't keep them - take them to the charity shop. Go on be brave !

Thanks. I will use them- when the others- which are cream colour- go for cleaning and/or washing.

I've put them in platic storage bags where you suck out the air.

Fair enough - just thought I'd make the challenge given the number of decluttering threads on here. Good plan with the vacu bags.
