It is a Green Pan that I need to replace. It has definitely lost it's non stick capabilities.

I never use metal, I have wooden and silicon utensils.

The people who make stove top espresso makers make them and they are brilliant think they called bialetti, am on hols at mo ore would have a look. Actually just searched and bialetti is right, they good value and can go in dishwasher although I would always hand wash saucepans.

JustFabulous do you mind me asking how long you have had your Greenpan and what happened to the non-stick ?
I have had one for a year or so, love it to bits and use it several times a week. One day it suddenly lost it's non-stick and developed a layer of baked on oil on one half of the pan. Everyone in the family denies using metal utensils, or the dishwasher or spray-on oil (all banned for Greenpans) and I am at a complete loss.

The Pampered Chef make fab non stick pans that you don't need to use much, if any, oil on and they come with a lifetime guarantee. First time I used mine to make scrambled eggs I was amazed at how easy it was and a clean pan at the end!

I love Gastrolux pans. I use mine around 3 times a week and they take years to even partially lose the non-stick. I'm not that careful with utensils either. www.gastrolux.co.uk/

Doesn't release nasty chemicals either.
