I'm not sure if this should be in chat or here, but I'll explain why I ask.

I have three young DC and am due my 4th in Jan. I also do a little book keeping for DH. And obviously I look after the house. Well, try to anyway. I currently use the family life book 2012, and am looking for something better. I need a day-to-view to list all my jobs and school/pre-school reminders, midwife/HV appointments and payments etc for DH. And room for contacts etc.

I'm looking to get on top of it all next year, so wondered if any one had any ones they swear by and could recommend? Thanks ever so.

I just use a poundland one, works perfectly as a page a day diary and I don't get stressed about anyone DH filling anything in incorrectly

I use a Filofax it's great as you can personalise it by getting the inserts you want. I'm sure there are financial inserts as well.

I use one from Paperchase. It's A5, spiral bound with a day per page. Lots of notes bits etc and a special plastic pocket in the back for receipts or whatever.
This is the second year I've had one and I just totally love it, a bit sad maybe but I like to be organised. It's like the one called rainbow riot on the link.

Dodo pad diaries have separate little boxes for appointments etc. for up to 5 people so you can have a different column for each family member. They do mini diaries, desk diaries, wall calendars and filofax inserts.

I have a moleskin week to view on one side and a notes page on the other which is okay however I have my eye on a Mums Office diary which looks ideal for what you are after too. Will try and find link.

they are lovely aren't they - I'm trying to justify buying one for 2013 even though we are a family of 3 and don't have that many appointments/classes/etc :)

I always used to get given a Dairy Diary - first by my Nan when I moved out, and then my Mum when I had the DCs. I haven't had one since but I always found it very useful. It had recipes in it. You can order them from Milk & More I think.

Had forgotten all about them! May get one for next year!
