I've already bought the oven liner! Ours sets off the smoke alarm too. It will be a novelty to see inside the oven through the door with the light on!

I never stay in the house when the oven cleaner man is there. He comes at 8am, pay him, go to work and come back to a shiny clean oven.

I've put a liner in the bottom and will try and brillo pad it every month.
It was well worth the money though for a once a year job.
