I need to store winter clothes in summer and summer clothes in winter

But can't put in loft. Any ideas for good, efficient storage that isn't going to get in the way?

those translucent plastic crates are good, as they keep dirt and dust out, and are easy to stack. As long as they are not too heavy to lift up and down, you can stack to head height. You can put the stack in a corner. If there are only a dozen or so they can go under a bed. £3.15 in Tesco this week.

If you have ever seen a moth attack, you will put a moth killer in each box. You can use cedar or lavender instead, if you want holey clothes that smell nice.

I put clothes in those v.cheap stripey plastic carrier bags you see at airports, but available in every pound shop in the land. Don't get too big a bag. Parcel label on handle for contents. Store in under bed plastic box. The double layer of plastic should see off the bugs. If in doubt put in conkers. In Oz, use camphor.

Never had insect attack using this method in nearly 18 years.
