Cleaning a large walk in shower

Advice please on how to keep my brand new walk in shower looking as pristine as it did after the plumber fitted it.
My dilemma is that I need to stand in it to clean the inside of the glass doors so then I clean the shower tray from outside, on my hands and knees with cleaning cloth.
But then..... if I rinse off the shower tray using the shower head, inside glass then gets water spatters all over it.
If I clean the shower tray first then how do I clean the inside glass without standing on the clean shower tray?
Or am I just obsessional?
I am serious as we live in an area with extrmely hard water and if I don't keep on top of it it will look rubbish 6 months down the line.

I get in the shower ( socks off). Clean glass and chrome shower with my ecloth. Then clean the tray gradually working out of the shower. I also spray Method shower stuff on my times each day. 6 months into our large walk-in shower and it still looks good.

I use "HG Bathroom" spray on mine - it's got a strong smell but is very effective! After every shower we "squeege" down the walls and glass so there are no watermarks left and I have to say, apart from sticky fingerprints on the outside, it usually looks pretty spotless. I would definately recommend squeeging after every use if nothing else!

Training course would be required for dh re squeedge-ing. Mine anywayHmm

I was wondering this today. We've moved and now I have this problem. I ended up very wetBlush

Quick wipe around inside with ecloths after shower (while you still nekkid), then outside occasionally --if you can be bothered)

Many thanks for all tips.
My shower now contains more bits and pieces to clean it than to clean us.
I'm loving a faux chamois-type thing that I bought on line originally designed to keep your yacht dry (I think!).
It actually dries the shower as you wipe it over so no water gets left to make it look manky.
My bathroom has never been cleaned and polished so much.

yy to squeegeeing and wiping out with a microfibre cloth ( while still in shower) after use. I am in a soft water area but my shower still looks great after 2 1/2 years. No black mould in sealant!

Wipe each time and bleach every two weeks, my 4 year old shower is as new.

This could be a challenge but the best way to do it, in my opinion, is to take care of the shower first, then move to the glass and last, but not least, disinfect and wipe the shower tray. If smudges and spots drive you crazy (I know the feeling well), I recommend using nothing but warm water, soap and a small portion of vinegar for cleaning the glass, followed by wiping with cotton fabric ( I kept an old pillowcase for the job). :)
