Oven cleaner recommendation please!

Our oven is fairly new and still quite clean, I'd like to keep it that way and not let it end up like the old one! So I'd like to know...what's the best oven cleaner to use? Can I use it to clean oven trays, tins etc that have burnt on stuff already? And what about the hob? ( stainless steel, has what look like rusty spots? )
Thanks!

Oven Pride, £3.99 from Morrisons. You can get it elsewhere but it's often more expensive.

It's great stuff but tog have to be careful using it. You put the racks and trays in a big bag (provided) pour in the stuff and leave overnight. The next day you rinse them off and they look like new. I did this bit outside and hosed them down.

I also used the gel stuff on the oven window and bottom of oven, left it for 2-3 hours and they both came up like new. Absolutely brilliant stuff!

You can stand and scrub with a brillo pad and cif for ages or use this stuff and let it do the work for you! No brainier! Loads more reviews on Amazon!

MN is very keen on Oven Pride.

Yes, Blush, this may not be my first post extolling the virtues of Oven Pride. (promise I don't work for them!)

Ovenmate from Lakeland, it is brilliant and doesn't smell so no wheezy chest issues like some other oven cleaners. You paint it on and wipe off, a bottle will do a really disgusting oven twice.

Be careful if you use ovenpride though, it works but you really need to wear rubber gloves as high up your arms as you can get - I found out the hard way that it burns your skin if it comes into contact with it Blush
