Does anyone know if you can renew the non-stick surface of a pan, and if so how on earth do I do it please?

No idea. I just buy a new one and imagine that resurfacing would be hugely expensive.

Thanks Viper

I probably will buy a new one, but this one cost me £20 when money wasn't tight and has been ruined by someone elseAngry

I sympathise and could totally understand you accidentally hitting them with it 7 or 8 timesWink

You can keep them going for a while by polishing the inside with cooking oil on a pad of kitchen roll after washing. But you can't resurface them.

I have a Daisy the cow sandwich maker which rips bread to shreds whenever I try to use it. I was hoping there would be a solution Sad I've tried putting oil on it. {sobs}

Lakeland sell a loose circular non-sick sheet which you can put in the pan. I have used one and it does work. Sorry but I can't remember what it was called but the staff are very helpful.

Thanks for the tips.

you could try 'seasoning' the pan - put some veg oil and some salt into the pan, turn the heat up high till nearly smoking, then allow to cool and wipe out. avoid washing in washing up liquid after this, just use water or wipe it with kitchen roll.
