The stuff that won't go in the tumble dryer?

It is too wet or too unpredictable to go outside.
It is too warm to put the heating on.

The stuff is going smelly before it dries Sad

Any good ideas?

I have a maiden in the kitchen and I keep the door open if I can when it's raining as the rain doesn't come in but the air does IYSWIM. Also when the oven is on in the evening it helps a lot.
But I hate that washed and not dried properly smell.

I bought an electric dehumidifier just for this reason. I don't use it all the time but when I do I hang the clothes on an airer with the dehumidifier on in the room and close the door, 4-5 hours later it's all dry inc jeans etc.

I have a clothes airer thing in the kitchen which I keep by the (generally open) patio door.

Will try that OddBoots as we have a dehumidifier. Smile

Depends what it is, I often use the airing cupboard (where the hot water tank lives) to dry delicates that won't go into the tumble dryer.

Outside. Sunshine and heavy showers here today, so it got rained on a couple of times but it dried in the end.

Indoors on ceiling airer. This is what we do all year round (can't be bothered putting it outside). We have a dehumidifier, which helps, but it's still taking longer to dry than usual.
