Dying a black silk top

I want to dye a black silk top that accidently got into the washing machine and faded. Has anyone tryed this and which dye did use? Thanks

Silk normally dyes very well - use one of the little dylon hand washes for such a small quantity, but the colour will probably fade again after a bit.
