Warm water & a scoop of bio washing powder, let it soak.

Thanks Carpe (does your name mean what I think it does by the way? Seize the jugs?)

I've got bio washing liquid, not powder, presumably that would do as well?

Um, no!

It's "go for the throat" (jugulum as in jugular!) and is also a Terry Pratchett novel Grin. Nice image though!

Think the powder works better as it "foams" as the tablets dissolve though

2nd vote for bio washing powder - can need a while to work, and maybe a few goes with some fresh powder if its really stuck on.
As I understand it has enzymes in it that 'eat' the grease which is why its used to clean tough stains at low temps. They can be harsh so I use rubber gloves otherwise my hands feel awful.
Can't answer on the powder v liquid - I've only ever used the stuff for this sort of cleaning as I use non-bio for our clothes

whoops, carpe, sorry about the 'free' translation!

i will get some bio washing powder, and give it a go!
