Spring clean and charity confussed!

Hi all, we are in the process of moving house and I thought I would spring cleaning before the move. I need to get rid of some of our clothes, toys, furniture, appliances, kids furniture, kids scooters, baby bottles, baby bouncer, humidifier, sports bottles, roller blades, small bikes, anyway lots of things, as you can see. So I phoned up one of my local charity shops to see how to drop off stuff, and was surprised that they do not take everything. They do not take anything that might create or would be in danger of causing an accident or harming. They do not take appliances. Anyway, was wondering if anyone knows of a charity in the south west area of London, that would be happy to take everything as long as its in good and working order. I'm also not into garage sales or boot sale.

The service Freecycle is the best thing for this.

Its a service where you can offer your items for free to the Freecycle service. They will then send the message via email, to everyone in membership of that Freecycle group (usually your local district/borough is a group).

Then if anyone is interested they can contact you to arrange pick up of items.

uk.freecycle.org/ - is the website.

Some Freecycle groups are now part of the Freegle network instead. (Can't remember why, something to do with having different admin set up I think.) So if you can't find a freecycle group near you try Freegle.

I think British heart foundation's big stores take electrical appliances - they tooksome of mine and I'm in south west London.
