How long do I need to tumble dry my bedding for to get it dried? I normally hang it on the maiden, but I've got people coming round later so don't want it draped all over everywhere! It's a washer/dryer combined so not sure if that makes a difference?

How long is a piece of string!? I have a washer dryer and I can only tumble dry the sheet and pillow cases in one go and then the (king size) duver cover after. It takes about 1 1/2 hours for each go. So...three hours total for my stuff but your stuff might be shorter/longer depending on efficiency of your machine and how big your bedding is.

Thanks, I only neede a vague idea - last time I tried to use the dryer I put it on for 12 mins and wondered why nothing felt particularly dry Smile

doormat · 10/05/2012 12:21

also will give you a tip to dry quicker...after 20 mins..take all stuff out and let the steam escape then place back in dryer....10 mins later its all bone dry...

I can't wait to have a stand alone. Or for it to be drying weather!

anniewoo · 10/05/2012 20:03

Put a dry face cloth in with the wet clothes helps drying quicker.

wandawings · 10/05/2012 21:27

Thanks Anniewoo.

Well, it took about 1.5 hours to dry even with opening the door and shaking the cover to let the steam escape every 15-20 mins! Don't think I'll be rushing to do that again, thankyou for the advice on it everyone!
