Am expecting to have a transformed oven. Have had to stop using top oven for fear of it catching fire.

If it is lovely I may even cook something in it.

Do professional oven cleaners get gas hob stands/rings/whatever you call them looking clean too? Rest of the oven actually isn't that bad but no matter what I do I can't get rid of stuff that's spilled over and welded itself to the bit the saucepan sits on...

Having said it's not that bad, it hasn't been properly cleaned for a year, now I think about it. I wasn't about to inhale the chemicals when pregnant and obviously I wouldn't want to expose a young baby to the fumes either so maybe I should call in the professionals Grin.

I have had a price of £70 and i am very very tempted... that is for oven, spe grill and the hobs etc.. guy promises to doit to a showroom standard - replace bulbs etc..and yes to getting muck and grime off the hobs. I am waiting till hubby is away before I have it done so I can pass it off as my own work :)

OP here. Right - it's done. Looks bloody gorgeous. I want to snog my oven. He did the double oven (not range) and 3 trays for £56 using green products.

It's great isn't it? No cooking in it mind, you don't want to mess it up. Grin
