That is good for chopping tomatoes and onions? I am sick of oniony hands and tomatoes irritate my skin. I have one of those pushy down cutter things but it doesn't do the job. I don't want to get out my massively heavy food processor, I still have the tiny one from when dc were babies but I have to cut the food up to get it in there which defeats the object.
I just saw this advertised which looked like it might do the job here but reviews on amazon specifically mention it being no good for tomatoes and onions!

I use this - but you would still need to cut onions in half or qurters www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-CH180-Mini-Chopper-Watt/dp/B0000C6WPC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1335449135&sr=8-2

Both can be frozen once chopped, I'd just do big batches in the normal food processor and shove em in the freezer.

I have this www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-Compact-FP120-Processor-Kitchen/dp/B001C3DRDG/ref=sr_1_3?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1335460246&sr=1-3
It is like the minichopper but you can do more at once, which I like. You would still need to cut the onions up a bit first ( halves or quarters) but it does them fine! I've not tried it on tomatoes!

Thanks! I'm being shallow and wanted something that looked good on the kitchen side too although the mini processors will do the job Blush

MrsL - that is far too organised!
