Best method for de-scaling a kettle?

Get some distilled white vinegar and put some in the bottom, about an inch. I then boil the kettle and leave it for a while. If you don't want to boil it you can just leave it a bit longer, Works a treat and no chemicals. Be sure to boil a the kettle a couple of times with fresh water to get rid of all vinegar traces.

Buy a rescaling sachet of evil chemicals and follow the instructions. I now only fill the kettle with filtered water and it's reduced the need for rescaling tremendously. Am now eyeing up a Brita kettle

I bought some citirc acid recently and it worked really well onm our very scaled kettle.
Cheap as chips too.

Vinegar! Dont inhale the fumes though. I'm sure they're not toxic but they make you cough!

If your an aldi shopper they've got descaling sachets in at the mOment. Which was handy as I went in to get vinegar but they don't have that!
