Cleaning bath toys

I need advice and hear that you are the people who can help.

We've all experienced the delights of a full throttle tummy bug in our house this week, including the dog. Poor little DD (9 months) has almost been washed away she's been dunked in the bath so often. I've spent today disinfecting bathrooms/washing towels at scalding temperatures/scrubbing all surfaces to ensure no unsavoury particles are hanging about. However, I want to make sure DD's little plastic squirty bath toys are properly clean, inside and out (I don't really want her zapping herself in the face with faeces-infected jets of water when larking about in the tub). What's the best way to do this, or should I just chuck them and get some more?

chuck em, and don't buy any more, they are almost impossible to get clean.

My two use old shampoo/bubble bath bottles (washed out) as squirters, I then chuck them in the recycling when they get a bit manky

I knew help would be at hand! Thanks.

Chuck em. You will never get them clean. YY to the bubble bath bottles.

Dishwasher?

You could stick them in Milton and squidge all the funk out, then stick in the dishwasher. Or throw them.

Whatever you do, super glue the holes up after cleaning and in anything else you buy!

Chuck.

Dishwasher useful when no tummy bugs.
