Toy storage for child's bedroom so the toys can't be seen?

Looking to get some extra storage for dd's bedroom. She's got a small bookcase in there but I'd like to start storing some of her other toys up there & rotating them around. I'd like something with a door/ cover though so she doesn't eyeball them allay bedtime. It's to store things like happy land houses/ possibly garage. Thanks if you can recommend anything

I bought a large cupboard from ikea with shelves, I think it was in the wardrobe dept. then just bought transparent plastic toy boxes for shelves.

Also has doors so looks much tidier.

We tidy (shove) DD's toys into the space under her bed. It has sliding doors and is only a basic single divan but can stash a lot and she happily pulls it all out to play with.

The expedit shelves from Ikea are good for toy storage, you can get various colours of baskets/boxes to fit in the shelves so that the toys are hidden, they're cheap and seem to store a lot (we don't have them but everyone I know with kids seems to have one).

I haven't tried these myself but someone recommended them. More expensive than Ikea though.

Thanks everyoneSmile
We already have expedit (sp?) in the living room which we've used for toys with baskets to hide it all but I was thinking of storing/ hiding the bigger stuff.

The gltc boxes are lovely but £! I do quite often look at their things quite longingly.

Great idea about using under bed though- dd is still in a cotbed but could def store some stuff under there in some flattish storage boxes.

The Stuva system at Ikea is great, comes in kids colours too, and you can adapt the combinations to suit your needs.

what about a blanket chest ? and you can put padding on the top and use as a seat aswell :)
