Am I going to regret buying a white cast iron pot - will it be easy to clean?

I have wanted a cast iron casserole pot for ages and as Sainsbury had a 1/3 off I thought I would treat myself (how sad am I??), but I chose the cream coloured one & not the orange and I am now wondering if I should take it back and swap.

Will it be a nightmare to clean if anything splashes on it or will it come off ok?
Can I use a scrouring pad on it or do you have to treat with care?

Anything else I should or shouldn't do with it?

I have one of these! They are holding up really well and not hard to look after.

Don't ever use abrasive scourers - it would scratch the enamel.
Don't heat up or cool down too quickly - so warm gently on stove rather than whacking heat up, and never put straight into sink when hot etc.
Clean with a soft brush or a soft scrubby thing you'd use on a non-stick pan.
Soak tough residues but don't let the exposed cast-iron edge of pan or lid sit in water.
Always dry up straight away.

They are so brilliant for casseroles, bolognese etc!

I have 2 of the cream Sainsburys ones too. They're still immaculate. Don't put them in the dishwasher - I made that mistake with an old Le Creuset one and it's all dark brown inside.

The Sainsburys ones are bargains!
