help! our house looks like a library, and we are getting slightly overrun with books and yet i keep buying them. we have them in every room, and they sit under the coffee table (fine) and in various baskets around. BUT its inrcreasingly difficult to find what you are looking for, so we need some storage solutions.

i was thinking a bookcase/shelf for DS bedroom to start, something that will be accessible to him and his sister (4 and 1). his bedroom is in the ocean range from M&P but that bookcase is quite tall and narrow and 400 quid. so does anyone have any suggestions? thank you!

They'd be ace in a long line along the top bunk!

A really cheap idea for books is plant troughs. We've got a few and they're great for the lounge. We bought plastic green ones they are literally a few pounds. I am going to investigate if there is a way we could get them on the wall, but they are fine on the floor for a few books.

Have to say those IKEA spice racks are out of stock everywhere at the moment Sad they also do a 'picture ledge' - sorry can't do links on my phone - that we are planning to use instead.
Also surprised at people finding Billy not very strong, we use them at work where each shelf is rammed full with overflowing lever arch files, and at home where each shelf has 2 rows of books.
