Washing up, housework and lack of motivation,.....HELP!

How do you get/stay motivated to do it all?

Sigh...I just realize that we'd be buried in a mountain of garbage if I didn't.

And I ask for help a lot.

And I do the timer thing.

Swings and roundabouts, really. Like I'll do a big clean when the place gets really piggy, and then nothing except for the kitchen and washing until the place is piggy again. Or someone is visiting. I find that a great motivation to tidy up, esp a playdate with the mum for coffee as bedrooms will need to be done then too :o

Stay on top of it, I just keep chipping away at it and it only occasionally seems overwhelming
