I love lists, however, occasionally I need to actually do the stuff on them, this is where I fall down.

Would anyone care to join me in a thread where we can list our 'to dos' and tick them off at the end of the day?

Please?

Thanks, and sadly no, got a funeral to go to. Statistically, not a good month so far! At least my NY resolution to be more organised is working well.#

Pack my bag for tomorrow - done except toiletries, still need my toothbrush!
Clean both bathrooms - done.
Clean kitchen - half done
Bake some brownies to take with me (and maybe some cookies for playgroup) - done
One load of washing on and dried (DH can put it away when I'm gone!) - done
Post the lovefilm discs - DH has laid claim to that task.
Leave instructions for food while I'm away - done.
Pack DDs nursery bag - not yet.
Prepare dinner before playgroup this afternoon - have copped out, we're having bubble and squeak with yesterdays left overs!
Take DD to playgroup - leaving now!

Only one thing on the list. Do the tax return.

yawningmonster · 24/01/2012 08:18

I am liking this as I actually seem to be doing the things I need to do...

Only ones I didn't achieve today were getting the milk (decided I could wait until shopping arrived tomorrow and crafts with the children which we ditched for an impromptu visit to the zoo with our neighbours boy tagging along.

Menu and shopping order took much, much longer than I had anticipated as there was a whole heap of untried recipes which I had to actually look up, check cupboards and then add ingredients to order but all done now and my lovely delivery people will arrive with all tomorrow.

Wednesday

Return DVDs
Meet up with other neighbour and her boys for a woodlands excursion
Picnic for above
Toilets
Washing cycle
20 mins room
Check ds has not grown out of uniform before school starts and wash ready for same
Email work with meeting dates I can and can't attend
Begin massive job of sorting photos starting with downloading most of last years ones from the camera and categorising on backup harddrive and pc.

Hi again!
My list this week is:
Tackle laundry
Clear out and reduce number of toys, books and cuddly toys in this house. Got a flyer from the church round the corner appealing for items for a women's refuge so I can kill 2 birds with one stone, ie, de clutter and help worthy cause!

At work I am tackling my classroom and food store (am a food and nutrition teacher). Giving myself 30 mins a day in sections of the room. Not had a real gutting since August.
Was saying to my sil on Saturday how much I disliked January. She said its her favourite month as she always has a mass 'spring clean' and chuck out so am following suit!
Get well mistletoe dCs
