it seems that mine have both packed in at the same time. both were very cheap argos value ones from around 10 years ago so did very well, i would like to spend a bit more now though!

I got this Kenwood food processor just over a year ago and I have used it a lot. I actually don't use my breadmaker anymore as I use the processor to make the dough and much prefer to bake my bread in the oven.

But I have to say I'm pining for a Kenwood Chef now... Blush

I have never used a breadmaker but I would rescue my Kitchen Aid food processor from a fire. I love it.

I LOVE my magimix food processor. It is brill!

I have a Panasonic breadbasket which I like but don't use more than once a week max.

I NEED a kitchenaid mixer but the cost mean it will have to wait (forever)!

I am also voting for the Panasonic Magimix combo - both great machines, wouldn't be without either!

Hi

I have a Kenwood bread maker which I adore. Came top in a Good Housekeeping review, think was a bit pricey though. Mine was a present.

Magimix!! I wore out a Moulinex and a Kenwood in a year each. Magimix has 12 year guarantee on motor and 3 year on bowls etc.
Bread shuld be made in a proper oven.

I have a Thermomix, which I love.

No need for a breadmaker, as using the 37° setting to develop the yeast, I can make a perfect bread dough, have it rise and then bake, all in under an hour from start to finish!

Magimix motors are brill.

Dont have a bread maker but panasonic always comes out tops in the Which guide. I make my bread from hand.

I have a Kenwood breadmaker and a Magimix food processor. I would add a good high powered hand blender to the list of kitchen gadget essentials

The first Kenwood breadmaker died prematurely (and I had it replaced by John Lewis) and the new one I have to wedge the stirer in with a piece of paperclip but it works well otherwise. The Magimix is ancient and still going strong.

In fact, with those three gadgets I can't think what I would need a food mixer for. I make my cake mixes in the Magimix as well as grate and chop stuff up. The hand blender does all my egg beating as well as liquidising jobs and the breadmaker takes the hard work out of mixing/proving/kneading dough. I sometimes just make the bread dough in it and then bake in the oven though as it does taste better.

I can only agree with others that the panasonic breadmaker has been very simple to ues, easy to experiment with and always produced good results.
I would also recommend a magimix as mine is now 20 years old and still working perfectly, even though i really would like a shiny new one I can't as yet justify one.
I'm actually quite jealous that you may get both!!

Just to add I did have a kenwood mixer and never used it so sold it on ebay.
