Have "cleaned" the windows today, used micro fibre cloth & Mr Muscle glass cleaner. Thought at the time they were okay, however, they look worse than ever!!! So smeared. How does anyone get smear free windows, please ? [Confused]

By using the microfibre cloth wihout the mr muscle and barely damp. I tend to wet one corner of the cloth smear a little water then rub with the dry cloth

I use e-cloths (are they the same as microfibre cloths?).

For very dirty windows the general cloth damp followed by the dry glass cloth; for general keeping on top of marks just a slightly damp glass cloth.

Agree with above, but to avoid recleaning now, rub with scrumpled-up newspaper to fix smears, rubbing horizontally one side and vertically the other so you know where the marks are.

I use the ecloth Window Pack and I can guarantee that it really does work. I have given my Mr Muscle window cleaner away as I no longer use it.

Mr muscle window and glass used with a lint free cloth, tea towels work well. Oh and good light and elbow grease.
